Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the City of Quincy officials will be hosting their 70th Annual Quincy Christmas Parade Celebration Festivities begins on the three day weekend events starting on Friday, November 24, 2023 through Sunday, November 26, 2023 to open for the public are cordially invited for the first time and first serve in the order to celebrate on the holiday season comes around in the corner.

 

This event is always free of the charge to the public at no cost in the order to attend the 70th Annual Quincy Christmas Parade Celebration Festivities on three day event here in the City of Quincy during on the holiday season.

 

Quincy Christmas Tree Lighting Festivities: 

Friday, November 24, 2023 @ 5:00 -- 8:00 p.m. @ Hancock-Adams Common Park: 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA

 

Public Transportation: 

• MBTA Red Line & Commuter Rail stops at Quincy Center Station

• MBTA Bus Stop at Quincy Center Station or 1250 Hancock Street

Parking Accessible:

• Quincy Public Schools: Coddington Street

• President's Place Parking Garage: 1250 Hancock Street

Please join with Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the City of Quincy officials will be hosting for their Quincy Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony take place at Hancock-Adams Common Park in Quincy Square begins on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 5:00 -- 8:00 p.m. to open for the public are cordially invited for the first time and first serve with the entertainment, hot chocolate, popcorn, photo op with Santa and much more!

 

Santa's Arrival by Helicopter:

Saturday, November 25, 2023 @ 12:00 -- 2:00 p.m. @ Pageant Field: 1 Merrymount Parkway, Quincy, MA

• Coletta Field

• Fenno Street Basketball & Tennis Courts

• Central Middle School Parking lot

Please join with Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the City of Quincy officials will be hosting Santa's Arrival by Helicopter take place at Pageant Field located at 1 Merrymount Parkway in Wollaston area begins on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 12:00 -- 2:00 p.m. to open for the public are cordially invited with the first time and first serve to meet and greet with the Santa and his elves once they will be arriving to land in the helicopter at Pageant Field. 

 

Of course, Santa and his elves will be looking forward to get ready for the 70th Annual Quincy Christmas Parade with the bright and early shine on Sunday, November 26, 2023 to meet and greet with the Quincy residents and the spectators from all across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and around in the world are coming to Quincy!

Sunday, November 26, 2023 @ 12:30 -- 4:00 p.m. @ Hancock Street to North Quincy High School, Quincy, MA

 

Public Transportation:

• MBTA Bus Route #: please look up on the Transit app device on your smartphone device to find where bus stop will located following of the Quincy Christmas Parade activity.

• MBTA Red Line train stops for the Quincy Christmas Parade route:

  • North Quincy Station

  • Wollaston Station

  • Quincy Center Station

• MBTA Commuter Rail stops for the Quincy Christmas Parade route: Quincy Center Station

Parking Accessible:

• PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT MCDONALD'S OR TARGET STORE AT 275 HANCOCK STREET OR OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE TOWED. TARGET AND MCDONALD'S ARE ONLY FOR THE CUSTOMERS.

• PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT WALGREEN'S STORE ON HANCOCK STREET OR OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE TOWED. WALGREEN'S ARE ONLY FOR THE CUSTOMERS.

• PLEASE FIND A PARKING SPACE ARE AVAILABLE THAT WON'T TOWED IF THE BUSINESS ARE CLOSED ON WEEKENDS THAT YOU CAN GET IN ACCESS FOR THE QUINCY CHRISTMAS PARADE EVENT ONLY WITHOUT GETTING TICKET BY QUINCY POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Please join with Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the City of Quincy officials will be hosting their 70th Annual Quincy Christmas Parade Festivities begins on Sunday, November 26, 2023 begins at 12:30 -- 4:00 p.m. where the parade route will take place from Quincy Square to North Quincy on Hancock Street via Walter Hannon Parkway proceeds to Central Middle School via Merrymount Parkway towards to Wollaston area continuing all way to the North Quincy High School at the end of the line on West/East Squantum Street.

 

Please come and watch the parade with your family, friends and neighbors are mostly welcome to come with the first time and first serve in the order to celebrate on the holiday spirit right here in the City of Presidents!

 

The Quincy Access Television (QATV) will broadcast live coverage for the 70th Annual Quincy Christmas Parade Celebration Festivities to keep you entertained back at home and out of the town whether you have on your smartphone device, tablet device, desktop computer or laptop computer whenever you need on the go so that way you can tune on QATV Channel 8.
